Keren is a partner in our U.S. IP and technology practice and has broad experience spanning transactional, counseling, and contentious matters. She has significant experience negotiating the IP-related aspects of M&A and other commercial transactions, strategic and bankruptcy-related acquisitions, collaborations, debt and equity financing agreements, and licensing and software as a service (SaaS) arrangements across a variety of industries.
She advises clients on IP and data-related risks and exposure in potential acquisitions and divestures, and negotiates the use and ownership of background and jointly developed IP in service, collaboration and joint venture agreements. Keren also counsels on IP-related disputes, strategies and protections, and advises on data protection and privacy issues, including in relation to cloud computing and outsourcing arrangements.
Keren is ranked as one of the Top Women Attorneys in New York for Intellectual Property in The New York Times’ Rising Star listing (2014 to 2021). She is also a member of ChIPs, a non-profit organization that advances and connects women in technology, law and policy, as well as the firm-wide 'Women in IP' working group.
