Pro-bono experience

  • Karishma was is involved in launching Allen & Overy’s Smart Start Experience in India, the programme aimed to give young people from disadvantaged backgrounds a real insight into the world of law and business, held in March 2016 in collaboration with the Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access (IDIA) project in India. She was also a mentor for disabled law students in India as part of the A&O & IDIA Mentorship Programme. She has also been involved in participating in Smart Start initiatives in London and supervising trainees in advising clients at legal advice centres.
