Karina has experience in advising on a broad range of commercial disputes, with a particular focus on the energy and resources and financial services sectors.
Prior to joining Allen & Overy, Karina acted as associate to the then Chief Justice of Western Australia, the Hon. Wayne Martin AC KC, and worked as a solicitor in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Karina completed the Bachelor of Civil Laws (BCL) at the University of Oxford in 2017, graduating with distinction.
Karina is recognised in Doyle's Guide as WA Litigation & Insolvency Law Rising Star 2022.

Pro-bono experience
- Assisting the Humanitarian Group (WA) in relation to their TPV Project, providing legal assistance to asylum seekers in drafting applications for temporary protection visas.
- Assisting a Law Access Referral client, in relation to a contractual dispute over the purchase of shares in mining equipment. Proceedings were commenced in the WA District Court prior to a mediated settlement.
- Assisting the Pony Club of Western Australia in negotiating a settlement after a rider made a disability discrimination complaint against the club.
- Working with the Prisoners' Legal Service, an independent community legal centre, in drafting applications for parole and supporting submissions on behalf of a number of long-term prisoners.
