Julie's practice focuses primarily on commercial international litigation assisting companies, financial institutions and tech players in civil and commercial litigation.

Julie has significant expertise in corporate, banking and financial litigation. She has also developed in depth expertise in cross-border litigation, particularly in EU class actions and asset recovery and enforcement of foreign decisions and arbitral awards.

Julie is a lead member of the Allen & Overy class actions task force composed of 12 Allen & Overy European offices.

Julie is mindful of Diversity & Inclusion and implied in Allen & Overy’s Pro Bono activities.

International commercial litigation

  • Several foreign companies for the termination of their commercial relations with French counterparties or in the context of commercial contracts governed by French law,
  • Several foreign companies in order to represent them before French courts and organise their defence strategy.

Recognition, enforcement and civil enforcement proceedings

  • A bank in the strategy of recognition and enforcement of a foreign judgment and enforcement measures in multiple jurisdictions,
  • A joint venture in charge of managing an infrastructure abroad for the recognition and enforcement of an international arbitration award and enforcement measures in France,
  • A financial institution in order to obtain the overturn of an order of exequatur of an arbitration award rendered when the dispute had been settled.

Banking and financial litigation

  • A company in the technological field in the context of a dispute related to a capital increase,
  • Several banks and insurance companies in the context of regulatory investigations and disciplinary proceedings (ACPR and AMF),
  • Several companies in the context of disputes in relation to share purchase agreements.
