Jennifer is a partner in the global Projects, Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure practice, based in our New York office.

Jennifer’s practice is focused on advising clients in all aspects of the acquisition, disposition, financing and sale of renewable projects and businesses, including structuring complex partnerships to optimize the tax and other economic benefits of owning, financing and operating renewable projects. Jenn also provides counsel regarding the drafting and negotiating of material project documents and supply chain agreements, and she assists clients with regard to commercial transactions involving retail and wholesale trading, asset management and hedging of natural gas, electricity and environmental attributes.

Jennifer has been actively representing clients in the energy space for over 15 years using her deep knowledge of renewables and the electric and gas markets to provide creative legal solutions to developers, sponsors, cash equity, tax equity and debt investors.

Other noteworthy experience includes advising:

  • Midstream natural gas company in the development of a large natural gas liquefaction and storage facility.
  • Renewable energy owner and operator in all aspects of the development, acquisition and divestiture of its commercial and industrial solar portfolio.
  • Solar developers in the structuring of joint development arrangements for the development and disposition of the development rights to solar projects.
  • Energy holding company in the divestiture of its heating, ventilation and air conditioning service business.
  • Solar energy developer in the formulation of its electric pricing hedging strategy.
  • Numerous corporate, fund-backed and other strategic investors in their tax equity investments into utility scale solar, commercial and industrial solar, residential solar, fuel cell and geothermal projects.
  • Numerous sponsors of all types of renewable energy projects in their acquisitions, tax equity, and debt financings.
