Jean-Christian heads A&O's Luxembourg investment funds practice and is a recognised practitioner within the market.
He has extensive experience in advising clients in relation to the structuring, setting up and registration of Luxembourg regulated funds (SIFs, SICARs, UCITS and Part II funds) and unregulated funds (limited partnerships and RAIFs) for institutional and non-institutional investors investing across a wide range of asset classes, alternative assets in particular, including real estate, private debt, private equity, infrastructure and impact investing. He assists fund management companies on their licence applications and extensions as well as on general regulatory and cross-border issues. Jean-Christian also advises clients in the context of their investor due diligence on, and negotiations with, alternative investment funds in the context of their participation/investments in such funds.
Jean-Christian is a member of the regulatory board of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI) and the co-chairman of various working groups of ALFI and ABBL.
