Jay Saxon is an associate in our New York City Banking and Projects team.

Prior to joining Allen & Overy, Jay spent ten years as a litigator working in both private practice and government. From 2016 until 2022, he served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama in the Civil Division, where his areas of practice included employment discrimination, torts, prisoner litigation, civil enforcement of the Controlled Substances Act, and appellate litigation. As part of this work, Jay argued successfully before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. 
After law school, Jay served as a law clerk to the Hon. Inge P. Johnson, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Alabama.
