Jade is a Chartered UK Trade Mark Attorney and a European Trade Mark and Design Attorney, specialising in trade mark prosecution and portfolio management. In addition, she has recently been elected to the council of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.
Jade has represented clients before the UK IPO, the High Court and the EUIPO boards of Appeal. She regularly works with major brands and international organisations in relation to trade mark selection, clearance searches, enforcement (including anti-counterfeiting, oppositions and revocations, passing off and domain name disputes) and agreements (licenses, assignments and co-existence)
Jade’s experience spans a wide variety of sectors and industries; advertising and media, entertainment and hospitality, financial services, telecommunications, manufacturing and consumer goods. Jade is a regular and popular speaker on UK trade mark law and has over twelve years of experience working in intellectual property, including a year working in America in the in-house trade mark team of a major technology company based in Seattle.
