Jürgen is co-head of A&O’s global competition and antitrust group. He has extensive experience advising clients on complex international, EU and German merger control, cartels and abuse of dominance cases. Jürgen’s practice encompasses a broad range of sectors, including energy, finance, high technologies, shipping and transport, raw materials, chemicals, consumer, and industrial products. In addition, Jürgen litigates before the European courts in Luxembourg.

Jürgen completed an internship with DG Competition and worked as an International Fellow at the US Federal Trade Commission. He has been appointed a Non-Governmental Adviser to the International Competition Network (which includes more than 120 competition authorities worldwide), where he regularly contributes to the ICN’s Cartel Working Group and Merger Working Group.

He is admitted to practise in Frankfurt and New York, and is listed as a European lawyer with the Brussels bar.
