Ignacio is a partner in our corporate team based in Madrid. His practice encompasses all aspects of corporate transactions including M&A, disposals, private equity, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations and commercial contracts.
He has wide experience on the infrastructure and energy sectors, having acted on both domestic and cross-border deals. He has also advised a number of leading financial institutions and corporate clients in banking and finance deals. Ignacio has particular expertise in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
He has recently been recognised as a rising star in the field of Private Equity in Europe in the context of Law.com/Legal Week's selection of under 40 lawyers. He is also recognised in the main legal directories, such us Chambers&Partners, IFLR1000 and Legal 500.
Ignacio consistently publishes works on legal publications and lectures Civil and Corporate Law at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) since 2015. He is also a member of ICADE’s Master de Acceso examination board.
