Ian is the Head of Allen & Overy’s Global Restructuring Group with over 25 years experience advising on restructuring and insolvency matters.

Ian specialises in a wide range of restructuring and corporate insolvency work, regularly acting for banks, bondholders and other financial institutions, insolvency practitioners and corporations. Ian has recently advised on a number of cutting-edge restructuring cases both in the UK and across Europe and Africa.

Ian is a past President of the Insolvency Lawyers Association and a member of R3.
