Contact details
Gilles specialises in employment law and HR related regulatory matters. He advises financial institutions, private capital players, insurance companies, multinationals and other corporate clients on the full spectrum of employment law and HR related regulatory matters, with a particular focus on complex contractual set-ups, sensitive investigations, delicate discrimination/harassment issues, high profile separation cases and litigation procedures.
He has a strong track record on large-scale projects including staff-sharing arrangements (in particular in the asset management sector), transfers of undertaking (notably in M&A and outsourcing transactions), collective redundancies (social plans) and employee representation arrangements (European Works Council, employee participation in cross-border mergers, etc.). He also has a particular expertise on regulatory remuneration restrictions in the financial sector (CRDIV and CRDV, AIFMD).
Gilles is the co-chair of the AMCHAM Luxembourg HR Committee, a member of the HR Group of the Luxembourg Private Equity Association and a member of ELSA (the Employment Law Specialists Association of Luxembourg). He joined Allen & Overy in 2008.
