Contact details
Fabian heads the Luxembourg Corporate and M&A practice of Allen & Overy. He has extensive experience in general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, and equity capital market transactions, with a particular focus on financial institutions, funds / asset management and insurance and reinsurance sectors. He has considerable experience in advising clients on M&A transactions, be it on the buyer or seller side. His involvement includes a hands-on approach regarding the drafting and negotiation of transactional documentation.
Fabian is one of only a few Luxembourg M&A practitioners to be ranked consistently as a “Band 1” or “Leading Individual” by legal directories (Chambers, Legal500, IFLR1000).
Prior to joining Allen & Overy in Luxembourg in 2007, Fabian spent ten years in the M&A team of Allen & Overy’s Brussels office. He is admitted to the Luxembourg and New York Bars and is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences, including recently on M&A trends and shareholders’ agreements under Luxembourg law.
“Sources note: ‘Beullekens is really technical and has a very constructive and pragmatic approach, which is important in deals and negotiations’."
Chambers Global
“Fabian Beullekens has a ‘capacity to truly understand client needs’ and provides ‘real gravitas’ on corporate and M&A mandates within the financial services and insurance sector.”
