David is part of Allen & Overy’s Tech Team and specialises in data protection, privacy law and intellectual property.

He also has experience in Amsterdam and London advising multinationals and start-ups on navigating financial regulation and engaging with the Dutch Central Bank. David joined A&O in 2018 and was admitted as lawyer to the Netherlands Bar in 2019. Prior to joining A&O, he was a visiting scholar at Columbia Law School in New York City where he researched sustainable finance. He studied at the London School of Economics (MSc, public policy), the University of Amsterdam (LLM, cum laude) and Amsterdam University College (BA, liberal arts).
