Cynthia Venter

Knowledge Counsel

Cynthia advises on a broad range of banking and finance related issues.

She has particular expertise in credit facility documentation and security arrangements. Cynthia has a strong background in real estate financing as well as syndicated, cross border arrangements. She also has extensive experience in project finance related mining, telecoms and renewable energy projects with a focus on the security aspects of these transactions. Cynthia has been recognised by Legal500 and IFLR1000.

Cynthia regularly provides training for clients on security considerations and other banking related topics. She is also responsible for managing and implementing the knowledge requirements of the firm, legal training and identifying opportunities to use knowledge products and innovation to add value to clients.

Cynthia also heads up the Pro Bono committee in Johannesburg.
