Christiaan is a partner at Allen & Overy in the Corporate Department in Amsterdam. Christiaan specialises in corporate law and M&A transactions with a focus on public M&A, life sciences and complex corporate transactions. Christiaan is co-head of the Amsterdam life science group and regularly advise all types of clients in the life sciences ecosystem, from biotechs to big pharma.

Christiaan has published a comprehensive text book on Dutch public takeovers. He is a fellow at the Business & Law Research Centre of the Van der Heijden institution for corporate law of the Nijmegen University and a member of the ABA and the American Bar Foundation.
