Bartosz Merczyński, Ph.D., heads the Warsaw Banking Litigation and Insolvency practice. He is an attorney-at-law with over 14 years of professional experience and has been with the firm since 2005. Bartosz specialises in representing global financial institutions in a range of complex financial and regulatory disputes.

He frequently acts for banks in mis-selling and professional negligence litigation. He regularly represents clients in high value credit insurance disputes, and also has particularly broad experience acting for financial creditors in insolvency proceedings and recovery litigation, including disputed security and enforcement. He has represented clients in landmark cases before the courts of all instances, as well as the Polish Supreme Court.
