Arnold is a partner in the Employment & Benefits practice group. He specialises in employment law with a particular focus on litigation, cross-border employment and works council matters, compliance, executive compensation and departures, transfer of undertaking and outsourcing. In 2014, Arnold was seconded to a Silicon Valley firm, focusing on executive compensation and benefits for large technology companies. Prior to joining Allen & Overy in 2005, Arnold worked for the International Labour Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
Arnold has an LLM in Dutch private law (cum laude) from Leiden University. He is also a Certified Pension Lawyer. Arnold regularly teaches at academia and is a standing lecturer at a post-graduate institute for employment lawyers. Arnold regularly publishes on employment law and is on the editorial board of Tijdschrift Recht en Arbeid (‘Journal for Labour and Law’).
