Antonio Vazquez-Guillen

Antonio is head of the Litigation/Arbitration Department in Spain and Co-Managing Partner of Allen &Overy Spain. He has conducted many proceedings in the commercial, banking and finance fields, relating to breaches of contract, enforcement of guarantees, insolvencies and claims for damages. Antonio represents many international investors in investment treaty disputes under ICSID and UNCITRAL rules, in renewable energy and infrastructure related disputes. He has also been involved in some high profile arbitration proceedings before the ICC and the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and has advised credit entities in insolvencies relevant for the national economy. Antonio has experience in administrative law and regulatory, including energy, infrastructures, public contracts and administrative proceedings. Prior to joining Allen & Overy in 2005, he was State lawyer before the Regional Court of Justice of Galicia.
