Álvaro has a Law and Business Administration Degree at Navarra University of Pamplona. Álvaro has also participated in a special program of this University at IESE in Madrid.
Alvaro dedicates most of his time to insolvency, restructuring and enforcement of guarantees matters. In this respect, he has advised different national and international financial institutions in some of the main insolvency proceedings in Spain as well as in different procedures for the judicial sanction of refinancing agreements.
Alvaro also collaborates regularly with the Banking and Finance Department of the Firm both in the preparation and drafting of guarantees and security interests as well as projects for the acquisition of NPLs portfolios or distressed debt against single names.
