Alexander heads the German financial regulatory team and advises banks and other financial service providers, including FinTech companies, as well as unregulated companies on all aspects of financial regulatory law. In addition to German and European banking regulatory law, he focuses on payment services law and capital markets regulation as well as issues related to the Banking Union. Furthermore, Alexander has broad experience in the areas of M&A of regulated entities, NPL transactions, civil banking law and in internal investigations in the finance sector.
