As Global Head of Practice Development, Alex is a senior member of Allen & Overy’s Arbitration Group, responsible for strategy, business planning and innovation, and LegalTech for the Group. He is a Member of Thomson Reuters Practical Law Consultation Board: Arbitration, and holds a professional support lawyer role within Allen & Overy also.

Having trained with Allen & Overy, Alex qualified into the Arbitration team in London, where he practised both investment treaty and commercial arbitration, representing States, corporates and financial institutions in cases across a range of sectors, including energy, mining, telecommunications and life sciences. He is also an experienced competition and regulatory lawyer, having practised as a Référendaire at the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal, working on complex appeals in the anti-trust, merger and telecommunications regulatory space.
