- JERA on the financing from JBIC and the commercial lenders for its acquisition of a 12.5% stake in the Barossa/Caldita gas field in Australia.
- Mitsubishi Materials Corporation on the financing in relation to its acquisition of a 30% stake in the Mantoverde cooper mine in Chile.
- JBIC, ADB, 14 international banks and 4 Indonesian banks on the US$3,745 million financing of an expansion of LNG Train (Train 3) of Tangguh LNG Project in Papua Barat province, Indonesia, under a Trustee Borrower Scheme. Awarded Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Deal of the Year, IJGlobal Award 2016, and Best Project Financing, Finance Asia Awards 2016.
- The Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc. on the development and financing of the Nam Ngiep 1 hydropower project in Laos.
