Stéphanie is in our corporate department and the Head of Know-How in Belgium.

In her previous role as senior associate in our corporate department, she advised on general corporate law and specialized in corporate transactions, restructurings, private equity and M&A work. Stéphanie now keeps the Belgian fee earners and their clients up to date on all current legal and regulatory developments. She leads the development of knowledge management and global know-how projects, hosts internal and client training sessions, provides advice on technical topics, writes client and internal publications and produces practical guidance on legal developments.

Advising:

  • Navis Capital on the sale of Thai poultry processor Golden Foods Siam Ltd to BRF GmbH, an Austrian Subsidiary of BRF SA, a company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (BRF).
  • Navis Capital on the acquisition of a stake in Nitipon International Group (NIG) from its founder. Nitipon Group is one of the largest operators of aesthetic clinics in Thailand operating more than 140 branches nation-wide.
  • Thai Union Frozen Products on its USD1.51bn acquisition of Bumble Bee Seafoods from private equity firm Lion Capital.
  • RSA on the disposal of a 21.75% stake in Syn Mun Kong Insurance Public Company Limited (SMK) to Mindo Asia Investments Limited and LeapFrog Thailand Holdings Limited.
  • Anatis UK on the purchase of Cherry Valley Farms Limited, a UK company with operations in Europe and China.
  • Dexia on the EUR380m sale of its asset management division, Dexia Asset Management Luxembourg SA and subsidiaries, to a consortium led by GCS Capital, a Hong Kong based strategic investor.
  • Tessenderlo Chemie on the sale of Profialis, a supplier of polyvinyl chloride profiles for windows, doors and finishing products, to OpenGate Capital, the US private equity firm.
  • The Wallonia Regional Investment Company on the sale of its stake in Uteron Pharma, a Belgian female healthcare company, to Watson Pharmaceuticals, a listed US pharmaceutical company (deal value: USD305m).
  • Kiala on the sale to UPS. A complex cross-border transaction involving 6 offices including Belgium, France and Spain.
  • Ageas, the international insurance company, on various acquisitions and disposals (led from Belgium) in Italy, Luxembourg, Germany, Ukraine and Turkey.
