The second discussed implications for companies in the Asia Pacific region. The panels ran through recent developments in sanctions law and considered “what next?” as we explored forward-looking issues for businesses.
U.S, EU and UK specific session (Friday 25 March 2022)
In this session, the panel discussed developments in sanctions issued by the U.S., EU and the UK on Russia. They considered practical steps companies can take to stay on top of the changes and remain compliant. They also discussed emerging issues in litigation and the capital markets.
Asia Pacific session (Wednesday 30 March 2022)
This session focused on how sanctions developments may impact companies based in, or operating in, the Asia Pacific region. The panel considered the global picture before honing in on APAC-specific issues, with a particular focus on the PRC.
