In September 2022, Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Competition (GAC) released its 2020-2021 Annual Report (Report), which sets out the main competition challenges, recommendations and proposals for the years ahead. According to the Report, in 2021, the GAC focused on conducting sectoral studies, reviewing competition policies and launching initiatives to promote effective enforcement.
