On 11 August 2021, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) launched a public consultation on key aspects of the international transfer regime under the UK GDPR. 

This note, produced with Practical Law, ­gives a comprehensive overview on the: 

  • Draft international data transfer guidance
  • Draft international transfer risk assessment (TRA): guidance and tool
  • Draft international data transfer agreement (IDTA)
