In 2016 a narrow majority of the British people voted in a referendum for the withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU). With effect from the end of today, this withdrawal will become reality and the UK will turn from an EU Member State into a third country. What tax consequences will this entail for companies in Germany?
