Yale Law Women names Allen & Overy to annual top firms report for gender equity & family friendliness

Allen & Overy’s commitment to diversity includes requiring 30% of a practice group's nominations for partnership to be women. For 2020 nominations, 45% of global partner promotions were women. In addition, Allen & Overy uses structured panel interviews during graduate recruitment; ensures its people can work flexibly; provides employees time to participate in myriad pro bono, volunteer, training, and mentoring opportunities; and offers equitable parental leave (in the U.S., all partners, associates, and staff are eligible for up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave regardless of how they became a parent, with birth parents receiving an additional eight weeks of paid leave).
