D&I in FS: how to get a head-start on the FCA and PRA proposals

LONDON: Partner and Chair of A&O’s international LGBT+ network A&Out, Jim Ford, has been named in the OUTstanding 100 LGBT+ Executives List.

The list, compiled by OUTstanding, celebrates role models across the globe who are driving the charge for inclusion. It is the fifth time Jim has been included on the list.

Jim has been recognised for his ongoing work at the firm in actively contributing to an environment where all colleagues feel safe and able to bring their whole authentic selves to work. As Chair of the firm’s global LGBT+ network since 2009, Jim’s profile raising of LGBT+ issues led to D&I becoming one of the firm’s five strategic priorities.  As well as his work inside A&O, Jim is also a regular speaker and mentor externally, working with organisations including Diversity Role Models, Stonewall and Queer Britain.

Founder & CEO of INvolve, Suki Sandhu OBE, says, “I’m thrilled to be celebrating another amazing group of LGBT+ and Ally Role Models from across the globe who are championing inclusion and inspiring the next generation of talent. LGBT+ discrimination is still prevalent across the world and Role Models are essential to change perceptions and show everyone that you can be successful in business while also being your authentic self at work.”
