Global leader in insurance-based wealth and succession planning for high net worth individuals, families and institutions, Lombard International Group, has announced its global external legal advisory panel, comprising four firms including A&O, following an extensive tender process.
Lombard International Group’s legal panel will provide greater global connectivity and expertise to support the Group’ growth ambitions as it develops best-in-class solutions to meet the changing needs of its clients’ mobile lifestyles, asset bases and changing family dynamics. The panel will assist in delivering the highest calibre, efficient and pragmatic advice for clients, in line with the Group’s values, including its commitment to the diversity and inclusion agenda.
The review and tender process was initiated and run by Monica Risam, Group General Counsel and Company Secretary at Lombard International Group.
Monica Risam commented: “Lombard International Group has long been partnering with first grade legal partners across all the geographies we operate in. Concluding this first panel review and tender process was for us a natural continuity as we look forward to enhancing our presence globally. The panel allows for greater global integration and will help drive growth for our business and our clients and partners.”
David Broadley, co-head of Global Corporate at A&O added: “Having worked with Lombard International Group for some time in Luxembourg we are very pleased to have been appointed to their global panel and have the opportunity to develop our relationship with them and further support their ambitions globally, bringing the benefits of our substantial insurance sector experience and international capability.”
