Global loans transaction rankings for 2020 – A&O again leads the way in EMEA and APAC

The Bloomberg figures show that A&O acted on almost twice as many EMEA lender and borrower deals, and twice the volume (in EUR) for EMEA lender deals than any other law firm. A&O's Global and EMEA market share also grew significantly, more than any other law firm. The Bloomberg rankings place the firm first across the entire EMEA market (lenders and borrowers) for both deal volume and count. The firm also rank first for APAC (borrowers), highly in Global (lenders and borrowers) by deal volume and count, and for APAC (lenders) by deal volume and count.

The Refinitiv figures show that A&O acted on more than double the amount of deals, and more than triple the volume of deals (in USD) for EMEA lenders than any other law firm. The Refinitiv rankings place the firm top across the EMEA market (lenders and borrowers) for both deal volume and count. The rankings also place A&O first for APAC (borrowers), and highly in APAC and Global (lenders) by deal volume and count.
