Four Allen & Overy practice groups highly recommended by Latin Lawyer 250

Allen & Overy (A&O) announced today its antitrust & competition, banking & finance, corporate & M&A, and project finance & infrastructure practices were ranked as 'highly recommended' in the 24th edition of Latin Lawyer 250, which rates leading law firms operating in Latin America.

The favorable ranking reflects A&O’s enviable track record advising clients across a wide range of complex cross-border transactions and strategic mandates, including projects focusing on Latin America’s rapidly growing mining, power, renewable energy, telecommunications and infrastructure industries. Furthermore, A&O is uniquely recognized in the ranking for its highly client-oriented approach, ability to translate its unique regional reach and deep institutional knowledge into desirable outcomes, and status as the only firm that sits on the global legal panels for all the major agency lenders in the Americas.

“This high ranking of four of our practice groups is testament to A&O’s high-caliber capabilities and ability to counsel clients addressing unique, cross-border and often extremely complex situations,” said Tim House, U.S. Senior Partner. “We are thrilled to recognize our colleagues for this accomplishment, and grateful to our clients for the continued confidence they have in us which lies behind these excellent rankings.”

Several partners are recognized as part of the award, including Gaela Gehring Flores, David Flechner, Bruno Soares, Dorina Yessios, Sami Mir, Kent Rowey, Greg Lavigne, Jean Lee, Todd Koretzky, Joseph Stefano, Jake Mincemoyer, Paul Burns, Stephen Besen, Simon Clark, Keren Livneh and Elaine Johnston, as well as senior counsel André Teixeira.
