Chambers & Partners 2022 recognises Allen & Overy’s Singapore office for its market leading Singapore and regional practices

Chambers and Partners has recognised Allen & Overy Singapore across 19 categories, including 11 Band 1 rankings. This included eight categories for Singapore, as well as rankings as an “international firm” in Indonesia, four categories in India, two in Malaysia, three in the Philippines and in Myanmar.  

The 2022 Asia Pacific Chambers and Partners guide also awarded individual rankings to 17 A&O Singapore-based lawyers, with eight individuals achieving Band 1 or Band 2 rankings, the highest level of counsel as determined by market research and client reviews. Congratulations to Gautam Narasimhan, Tim Beech, Sheila Ahuja, Chris Bishop, Felipe Duque, Alun Evans, Pallavi Gopinath Aney, Brendan Hannigan, Jason Humphreys, Yin Mei Lock, Scott Lovell, Chris Moore, James Mythen, Prakash Raja Segaran, Alexander Stathopoulos, Aloysius Tan and John Rainbird on their individual rankings across Singapore, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines Vietnam and Myanmar.

A&O was one of the first batch of international firms to be granted a Singapore QFLP licence in 2008, and in 2020 received approval from the Ministry of Law in Singapore (MinLaw) to renew its Qualifying Foreign Law Practice (QFLP) licence for an additional five years until 31st December 2025.
