There has been an alarming surge in incidents and violence against the Jewish community. This note comes just weeks after we sent a similar message condemning violence against the AAPI community. We are disheartened to see that hate and discrimination have not dissipated, but instead spread to antisemitism.
Our commitment to celebrating diversity is central to our culture, and we will continue to condemn hate, violence and discrimination, and work to create an equitable and inclusive environment.
Allen & Overy stands united with our colleagues, our clients and their families in all communities where we live and work. We all have an important role to play in stopping this – and any form of – intolerance and threat to the rule of law. We encourage you to speak out, speak up and help raise awareness about what is occurring and how we can improve.
