London – Allen & Overy is acting as lead counsel to funds advised by Apax Partners LLP (“Apax”) on the definitive agreement reached to acquire a controlling stake in Alcumus from Inflexion.

Alcumus is a global leader in technology-led risk management and compliance solutions, helping organisations of all sizes anticipate, manage, and avoid risks, thereby improving outcomes for employees and company operations.

The Alcumus management team will remain significant shareholders in the business following the transaction which is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close end of Q1 2022.

Commenting on the deal, Allen & Overy private equity M&A partner Karan Dinamani said: “We are delighted to have acted for Apax on this latest transaction, which we expect to be transformational for Alcumus. We look forward to continuing the long and successful partnership between our two firms.”
