The transaction was further financed by Česká Exportní Banka (CEB) and backed by the Czech export credit agency EGAP. The borrower is a member of the Czech-based hydroelectricity group ENERGO-PRO. Istanbul-based Partner Joe Clinton led the English law aspects of the transaction with support from lawyers Sarah Yeowart and Edward Charlton-Jones and Turkish counsel Umut Gürgey led the Turkish law aspects of the transaction with support from lawyers Dilsah Gurses and Burak Ozsoy, all based in Istanbul. Senior associate Jana Marsalkova, based in Prague, led the Czech law aspects of the transaction with support from Tereza Veverkova. A separate Allen & Overy team led by Simon Hill and Chris Angus with support from Ian Convey advised HSBC in its capacities as Security Agent and Account Bank.
