Allen & Overy took home two awards at the 2018 Euromoney Asia Women in Business Law Awards.

Meredith Campion, a partner in our Perth office won “Best in Energy and Natural Resources” and Tina LeDinh, a senior associate in our Ho Chi Minh City office was named the “Rising Star in Corporate”. The individual awards recognise the best female lawyers throughout Asia Pacific, who are also influential leaders in their field.

A founding partner of the Perth office, Meredith has a great depth of knowledge of the energy & natural resources sector having advised on takeovers, mergers, acquisitions, disposals, capital raisings, joint ventures and mining operational agreements for more than 20 years. Deals aside, Meredith actively supports women in achieving their career aspirations and recently established the Female Lawyers Lunch Forum in Perth to provide our female lawyers with a safe environment in which to discuss and address their challenges as they continue to develop in their careers. The quarterly forum has proven to be a great way to empower our younger women lawyers.

Tina, a rising star in the corporate practice has over ten years’ experience practising in Vietnam and focuses on complex corporate and M&A transactions as well as international capital markets. Tina has had a seminal 12 months at the forefront of Vietnam’s burgeoning international capital markets, having advised on a succession of precedent-setting and high profile equity offerings by Vietnamese issuers including Vietnam’s biggest flotation to date – Vinhomes’ Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange listing.

Tina is part of Allen & Overy’s Emerging Female Leaders group and is at the forefront of identifying and addressing issues critical to the engagement, retention and success of female lawyers at the firm. In addition to her professional work, Tina serves as Vice-Chairwoman of Operation Smile Vietnam, which is part of a global organisation that repairs childhood facial deformities.
