The firm will recruit an initial cohort of six solicitor apprentices on a Solicitor Level 7 Apprenticeship programme at the end of which, if successful, they will have obtained an LLB (Hons) Law and Legal Practice from BPP University, as well as becoming a qualified solicitor via the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE).
The six year apprenticeship programme will start in September 2022, and while aimed primarily at those completing their A-levels in 2022, it is open to any candidates without a degree. The firm is keen to attract a socio-economically diverse pool of high-achieving applicants.
James Partridge, graduate recruitment partner and training principal, said: “After announcing the launch during the summer, we’re thrilled that the solicitor apprenticeship programme is now open for applications.
“Apprentices will spend time within our different practices and also in our Advanced Delivery & Solutions businesses, experiencing many of the different areas that the firm has to offer. Our apprenticeship programme will be the start of an alternative route into a truly rewarding legal career at a global law firm.
“It is going to be really exciting to welcome our first cohort of apprentices in September next year”
