Allen & Overy PENRI Group wins ‘IJGlobal Asia Pacific Legal Adviser of the Year’ and ‘The Asset Asia Pacific Project Finance Law Firm of the Year’

Allen & Overy’s Asia Pacific Projects, Energy, Natural Resources and Infrastructure (PENRI) group has won both ‘Asia Pacific Legal Adviser of the Year and ‘Asia Pacific Project Finance Law Firm of the Year’ at the IJGlobal Awards and The Asset Triple A Infrastructure Awards 2021 respectively.

The IJGlobal Awards ceremony which was hosted virtually on 29th June recognises achievements on deals across the infrastructure and energy sectors in all regions around the world.

  • ASEAN - Renewable Energy Deal of the Year (Solar) - TTC Energy Development Investment JSC’s USD37.8 million long-term financing
  • Bangladesh - Transport Deal of the Year - First Dhaka Elevated Expressway Company’s USD861 million facility
  • China - Water Deal of the Year - Shenzhen Water Group Company/Shenzhen Water and Environment Investment Group Company’s USD200 million equivalent loan facility
  • China - Oil and Gas Deal of the Year - China Gas Capital Management’s USD20 million loan financing
  • India - Green Project of the Year - SB Energy Six Private Limited’s USD333 million project financing

Our Asia Pacific team also advised on the IJGlobal’s Africa Oil & Gas Deal of the Year in relation to the Nigeria LNG Train 7 project.
