The avanti group offers specialized talent solutions, recruiting and secondment in the field of healthcare (such as nurses, intensive care staff, other hospital support personnel etc.). The company was founded in 2000 in Hamburg and has 14 offices throughout Germany, with an internal staff of 220 people, and about 1,700 people at work at more than 1,000 customers. The acquisition is still subject to customary regulatory approval.
The Allen & Overy team led by M&A partner Dr Matthias Horn has advised House of HR on all aspects of the transaction, including setting-up of the acquisition structure, management re-investment, employment, tax and real estate advice.

The team further comprised partner Dr Heike Weber (tax), counsel Dr Sebastian Schulz (Employment), senior associates Dr Riccardo Marinello (Real Estate, all Frankfurt) and Dr Marcus Mackensen (Corporate/M&A, Hamburg) as well as the associates Lisa Wantzen (Employment), Sven Bischoff (Tax), Alan Markgraf (Banking & Finance, all Frankfurt) and Fabian Kolf (Antitrust, Hamburg).
House of HR’s inhouse legal team comprised Thomas Martens (Head of Legal) and Delphine Vandenabeele (M&A Legal Counsel).
