Allen & Overy has advised Wa’ed Ventures (Aramco), in connection with its investment in PASQAL, a leader in neutral atoms quantum computing, as part of a EUR100 million equity Series B raise.

The Series B was led by new investor Temasek, a Singapore headquartered fund. Other new investors include the European Innovation Council (EIC) Fund, Wa’ed Ventures and Bpifrance, through its Large Venture Fund. Continuing investors include Quantonation, the Defense Innovation Fund, Daphni and Eni Next.

The team was led by Paris M&A counsel Anne-Caroline Payelle and London partner Will Samengo Turner, assisted by Paris associate Marie Silvain and London senior associate Josh Little. PeerPoint consultant Marianne Delassaussé advised on IP-related issues and Paris associates Juliette Olliveaud and Juliette Mazilier assisted on the IT aspects.

The due diligence team included teams in the Netherlands, Germany, Japan and the US.
