Allen & Overy has advised CVC Capital Partners, a world leading private equity firm, on the financing for its buyout of the remainder of Multiversity, which is the market leader in Italy in the e-learning market by number of enrolled students.

The financing included €765m of senior secured floating-rate notes and a €100m super senior revolving credit facility.

In London, the team was led by leveraged finance and capital markets partners Neil Sinha and Kevin Muzilla and senior associates Nick Hallam and Elena Dzhurova.

In Italy the team was led by capital markets partners Cristiano Tommasi and Craig Byrne, counsel Emiliano La Sala and senior associate Sarah Capella and banking partner Stefano Sennhauser and associate Alessandra Pirozzolo. In Luxembourg, the team was led by banking partner Henri Wagner, corporate partner Fabian Beullekens and corporate counsel Sylvain Cailleau.
