Allen & Overy represented EG Group in connection with its acquisition of Cumberland Farms, which operates approximately 600 convenience retail stores and fuel stations across the U.S.

With Cumberland Farms, EG Group extends its presence in the United States to a total of nearly 1,700 stores, operating in 30 states and retailing over 2.5 billion gallons of fuel with merchandise sales of more than USD3 billion on an annualized basis. Previously, Allen & Overy advised EG Group on its 2018 acquisition of the convenience store business unit from The Kroger Co. (“Kroger”) (NYSE:KR) for USD2.15 billion.
