Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption is growing as the technology continues to mature and be scaled. AI offers many benefits in a wide range of applications, but also carries some risks and raises legal questions. In 2021 we saw the world’s first concrete proposal to create a regulatory framework for AI, in the shape of the European Commission’s proposal for AI Regulation. This legislation aims to encourage further AI developments but also manage potential risks. This proposal will undoubtedly mark the beginning of similar initiatives in other regions across the globe.
