On the acquisition of a AUD 2bn loan portfolio from Suncorp-Metway Limited.
On a joint venture subsidiary of a group of sponsors, on the USD20bn project financing of the mega integrated Ichthys LNG project. The deal involved eight ECA’s and 24 commercial banks. The deal is the biggest project financing ever arranged in the international financial markets. On the acquisition of an approximate 15% interest in the Browse LNG Project from Woodside for USD2bn.
On an AUD425m syndicated lease facility and on a separate USD600m syndicated lease financing of mining equipment for two operating subsidiaries in Indonesia; PT Leighton Contractors Indonesia and PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia.

On the AUD1.55bn sale of its Australian asset finance business, Capital Finance Australia Ltd (CFAL), and its corporate loan portfolio, BOS International Australia Ltd (BOSI) to Westpac Banking Corporation.
