Business Development & Marketing
We provide a global capability of effective, coordinated and decisive legal advice. In order to achieve this we require high-quality support for Allen & Overy's activities. As with all our support functions, Business Development and Marketing is a key component in driving the business forward and enhancing our reputation for excellence and innovation.
The Business Services department covers a very wide variety of disciplines both locally and internationally. Across all areas, we seek to achieve the highest level of service and support for our internal customers and our clients. This is achieved by recruiting and retaining the best people. Business Services includes document production, front of house, despatch, procurement, stationery and archive management.
The Finance department is a key component in driving the business forward and enhancing our reputation. The department is highly computer automated, and growing at a rapid pace.
Providing a full HR service to our lawyers is a vital part of our business and we look for the best to support the best. The HR function in Allen & Overy plays a highly important facilitating role in enabling the practice to attract, motivate and retain the best possible quality of staff at all levels. Our global HR function is organised to reflect the international matricised structure of our business.

Knowledge, Learning and Education
Some 70 information professionals and library administrators work within our global Library service and practice groups. Roles reflect the global environment and individual expertise, and include research, collection management, training, finance management, current awareness, systems development and project management. The Allen & Overy Bangkok team is part of our global department.

About half of those working at Allen & Overy are support staff. The PA support is an increasingly sophisticated and demanding role, requiring greater use of technology and a wide range of skills.
We recruit significant numbers of legal PAs into all areas of Allen & Overy. As well as employing PAs with legal knowledge, we actively seek PAs from other industries, including banking, finance, insurance and accountancy firms.

The Bangkok office is situated in the heart of the Bangkok's business district on Wireless Road, a beautiful tree-lined boulevard which hosts a number of embassies and is a short walk from the central park of Bangkok, idyllic Lumpini Park.
We are based on the twenty-third floor of the well known Sindhorn Building – the former building of the Stock Exchange of Thailand and also the base for many of our key clients. The office is conveniently located with good connections to major transport links including Lumpini MRT underground station, Chidlom skytrain station, Ploenchit skytrain station, and the northbound and southbound expressway system. It is also only 30-45 minutes by taxi from Suvannabhumi Airport.
The Bangkok office is an open plan office with height adjustable desks and other office facilities to emphasize working ergonomics. We also have big, open break out area with many tables and high chairs so staff can have informal meetings or change to a more relaxed informal working environment in order to break their routines. It also serves as a perfect venue for staff to gather during lunch, happy hours or any other functions. We pride ourselves on our friendly and personal atmosphere. This is reflected in the majority of the staff taking time to eat lunch. There is also daily supply of the best seasonal Thai fruits Bangkok has to offer in the breakout area at breakfast and 3.00pm.
