The Business Development and Marketing team is committed to ensuring that we deliver the highest possible level of client care. The team is responsible for providing operational and strategic input into marketing projects, organising seminars, very popular in-house legal clubs for clients and managing specific projects from conception to completion.

Business Services

The Business Services team provides the office facilities and environment necessary to deliver a top class service to our clients by supervising maintenance and planning for future purchases and leases.

The team also participates in organising internal know-how seminars, pro bono projects, document production services, etc. The business services team works closely with other offices, including the London office and offices in the Central and Eastern European region.

Finance

As with all our support functions, the Finance department is a key component in driving the business forward and enhancing our reputation. Finance is highly computer automated, and growing at a rapid pace.

Human Resources

The Human Resources team is responsible for recruitment, coordinating peoples’ careers, development processes and salary and benefits policies. The HR team works closely with other offices including the London office and offices in the Central and Eastern European region.

Information Technology

Pre-eminent among law firms in the use of information technology, we rely absolutely on the quality of our advanced IT services and systems. Our IT analysts and trainers are responsible for providing technical support and computer training to all staff. The IT team works closely with other offices including the London office and offices in the Central and Eastern European region.

Legal PAs

Legal PAs

PA support is an increasingly sophisticated and demanding role, requiring greater use of technology and a wide range of skills. To help to achieve such a high level of technical ability, professionalism, team spirit and flexibility, we offer our PAs an in-depth induction programme, technical training and a development programme.

Paralegals

Paralegals

Paralegals at Allen & Overy play an instrumental role in the mechanics of the legal process. Although the role varies according to departments, it forms an important part of the team alongside our partners, associates and junior lawyers. The main focus is to deliver a first-class service to them as internal clients, and thereby gain a valuable insight into the workings of a large legal practice.
