Ann-Marie Eben

I started at A&O Luxembourg in 1998 as PA to the then Litigation Partner before becoming the PA to the Corporate Finance Partner. I had worked as a PA in a very small local law firm and I thought that the office was enormous, with about 30 people! Nowadays, in Luxembourg, we are around 160 people. What impressed me most was the great teamwork in the departments encouraging everybody, fee earners and employees, to feel valued members of the team.

Allen & Overy offers career paths that give employees real opportunities. This spirit encouraged me to accept an offer to become the local IT Trainer, and then, a few years later, an international IT Trainer, responsible for all kinds of IT training and non legal training in Luxembourg, Paris and Madrid.

What I enjoy most in my job is when I realise that people attending my training enjoy it and benefit from it in their day-to-day life. Moreover, I meet so many interesting people from so many countries. As a conclusion, I can proudly say that I am a member of the best IT team in the world!
