Welcoming different views. Being open to other ideas. Knowing you’re better together. It’s Time.
At Allen & Overy, our people are our strongest and most important asset. We pride ourselves on recruiting only the very best – lawyers and support professionals – and it is that basic principle which forms the foundation of our success.
Business Development & Marketing
The Italian Business Development and Marketing department is committed to ensuring that our business grows, and the highest possible level of client care is delivered.
We look for talented team players with the appropriate academic qualifications, professional experience and communication skills to contribute to our strategic direction. You'll need to have a commercial approach, international outlook, be able to think laterally, be pragmatic, well organised and calm under pressure. In return, we'll offer you excellent career development opportunities and comprehensive training.
As with all support functions the Finance department is a key component in driving the business forward. Not surprisingly, there are many different areas of focus within the department including financial analysis and budget control, accounting, client administration and credit control.

Our Milan and Rome offices offer an open, friendly and "keen to help" environment will help you adapt to the Italian work culture.
The Milan office is situated in the business and fashion district, near the Duomo, the world's largest Gothic cathedral. In a short walk you could reach the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II arcade, the Theatre La Scala, the 15th century Sforzesco Castle's Museum of Historic Art and the Gallery of Modern Art. The Pinacoteca di Brera and the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie (which is home to Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting, The Last Supper) are also close to the office.
The Rome office is located in the landmark building of Palazzo Sforza Cesarini, in the heart of the city close to Piazza Navona and The Vatican.
Both offices host a Christmas gathering for all staff and employees and often organize drinks and team gatherings, off-site events and sport sponsored tournaments.
